Young Artist Program
Advanced, comprehensive training for high school and college students planning flute performance careers. Includes private lessons and weekly Young Artist Studio Class. Space is limited.
Conservatory, Repertory, and Preparatory Programs
Accelerated training for young flutists, Grades 4 to 12. Private lessons with BFA Artistic Director Judy Grant. Includes preparation for area youth orchestra and wind ensemble auditions. Space is limited.

Secrets to Successful Orchestral Auditions with Fenwick Smith & Geralyn Coticone
Intense study on flute and piccolo excerpts with retired BSO players Fenwick Smith and Geralyn Coticone. Designed for advanced players and young professionals who are currently, beginning, or preparing to take auditions and need some insight on repertoire preparation and audition taking skills. Coaching on resume writing and CD making. Space is limited.
Teacher Training Program
Hands-on experience working with students of all levels. Class observation and pedagogy consults with BFA faculty and guest artists. Designed for graduate-level music majors and recent graduated beginning their flute careers.
