Walking directions from the Brookline Hills T stop on the Green Line (D/Riverside Line):

From the station, turn right and walk up the small hill (away from Brookline High School) to Cypress Street.
Turn right onto Cypress Street and continue walking for about half a mile, past 3 stoplights and 1 flashing light.
When you reach the stop sign at the end of Cypress Street, turn left onto Chestnut Street. Follow Chestnut Street as it curves to the right.
Chestnut Street will bring you to the Perkins Street stoplight (you will see the Jamaica Plain Pond beyond it). Turn right onto Perkins Street, and be sure to walk on the right side of the road, with the JP Pond on your left.
Stay on Perkins Street. After you pass the JP Pond and Prince Street, take the first entrance to the Hellenic College/Holy Cross on your left. The campus road will take you directly up the hill to the Maliotis Cultural Center.
Total trip: about 20 to 25 minutes, 1.3 miles.
